How to check mailbox size from Microsoft Outlook

Users often need to know their mailbox sizes so that they can determine when they should move their mails from Server to their local .pst files due to storage restrictions. Outlook 2007 and 2010 provides the necessary details in determining the same. Follow the below steps to know the mailbox size on local system and on server:-
1.       Open Microsoft Outlook.
2.       Right-click the top level folder which may be your email address or may say “Mailbox- x.x.x” and select Properties.

3.       Click on Folder Size.. in General tab.

4.       Click on the Local Data and Server Data tabs to know the storage details. The value may be different on both tabs, since local data (offline or cached data) may not always be synched with the Exchange server.
