Enhanced Transport Rules Features in Exchange Server 2010

Transport rules consist of Conditions, Actions and Exceptions which filter messages that flow through the Hub Transport and Edge Transport servers.

Few enhancements have been done in the Exchange Server 2010 with respect to Transport rules.

1. In the Transport rules, we can now include users from the other companies into our rules.

2. Capability of scanning the contents of supported attachment types, unlike in previous editions which only scans the name of the attachment.

3. Fully integration with AD RMS for protecting the documents.

4. More enhanced Actions.
