We can use Outlook App Mailbox Policy in Exchange Server 2010 to apply common set of policies for specific groups of users. Exchange Server 2010 creates a default Outlook Web App Mailbox policy. We can create additional policies to match our requirements.
1. Open the Exchange Management Console.
2. Expand Organization Configuration and click on Client Access.
3. Click on the Outlook Web App Mailbox Policies tab.
4. Default policy is created in the result pane. Right-click on it and open its Properties.
5. Click on the Segmentation tab to enable or disable any feature.
6. Click on the Private Computer File Access tab to configure the Direct File Access feature for users who select "This is a private computer" option while signing through Outlook Web Access.
7. Click on the Public Computer File Access tab to configure the Direct File Access feature for users selecting "This is a public computer" option while signing through Outlook Web Access.
